Elizabeth was an artist, photographer, and nature lover. She had studied painting and photography at the Art Institute of Chicago. Elizabeth raised, bred and showed Cavalier King Charles Spaniels and later she raised goats. The Cavaliers won many dog shows and were often the subject of her paintings and photographs. Elizabeth had traveled to England to acquire her breeding line. She was highly respected among the Cavalier owners and was sought out for her advice long after they had been sold. Elizabeth loved life, animals and people.
